Realizing triple-power grid: 10 facilities including Main Substation C
As the construction of Inspire Entertainment Resort became visible, a stable supply of power was required not only to Incheon

Airport but also to major facilities at Yeongjong Island. This is why Main Substation C was built during Phase 4, creating a
triple-layer of power by adding one line of 154kV. Package II included new landscape projects to nurture and manage plants
for landscape. It replaced the first greenhouse and built the third greenhouse for integrated management. Incheon Airport
introduced an automatic smart farm system from the second greenhouse. The third greenhouse is as high as 11m for nurturing

various plants. Equipment Storage for Winter F was built in a 2-story building with a total floor area of 5,155 cubic meters.
The airside snow removal area is to store solid de-icing materials and equipment. It moved the location of the de-icing control
room to a more visible location and made it larger. PackageⅡ for auxiliary building project of the Phase 4 included extension
and construction of airside snow removal facility, equipment storage room F for winter, car wash, Terminal 2 landscape

facility, ICT center, airfield lighting workshop B, office to control wild animals, Oseongsan Control and Receiving Station,
Sammok Radar, Sinbul Control Station along with Main Substation C. The project was conducted from November 2020 to
September 2023 with a budget of around KRW 46.6 billion.
