Package III also included an airside construction workshop to improve
accessibility to open air yards and sites, which played a critical role in the timely

construction of Phase 4 by providing necessary materials. To secure loading areas
for materials related to electrical and machinery work, Terminal 2’s electrical
workshop and machinery workshop were built. Package III also included the
construction of solar power generation electricity room B and a fuel cell electric

room. The project was conducted from August 2022 to July 2024 with a budget of
around KRW 14.7 billion.

Establishing infrastructure for building operations: electricity,
communications, elevator systems for auxiliary buildings
After completing each auxiliary building, infrastructure including electricity and
communications facilities was built. Construction was divided into the T2 long-
term parking building and Main Substation C area. To secure communications

infrastructure and prevent fire, IIAC proceeded with information communications
construction and the purchase/installation of an automatic fire detection facility for
auxiliary buildings. Elevators for auxiliary buildings, refrigerating machines and
cooling towers, and a system to automatically control mechanical facilities were

installed.
