Creating a safer parking lot: improving the parking guidance system
The parking guidance system at Transportation Center 2 was also improved. As the parking area became larger and more
complex following the expansion, congestion increased, raising the risk of accidents. IIAC conducted on-site surveys and

workshops to identify 60 high-risk areas. Comprehensive information boards were installed at key locations, and safety
information display systems were set up at potential accident sites. Starting in July 2021, an intuitive vehicle guidance service
was implemented in the expanded areas of Transportation Center 2 to enhance user convenience and reduce accidents. As a
result, the number of accidents within the parking lot dropped significantly from 55 over the period of 2019 to 2020 to only 4
over the one following year after the new system installation.
