Incheon Bridge, the second land connection following Yeongjong Bridge, links Incheon Airport to the mainland. Like the
airport railway, Incheon Bridge is a prominent private investment project connecting the airport with its surrounding cities.
Of its total length of 21.348 km, the sea bridge spans 12.34 km. It was constructed as a cable-stayed bridge with 6 lanes (3 in
each direction), a width of 31.4 meters, and a main span of 800 meters. The bridge officially opened on October 16, 2009. The
completion of the Incheon Bridge greatly improved access to the airport from Incheon and the southern area of Gyeonggi-do,
significantly improving convenience for air passengers.
