Building shuttle trains connecting

Terminal and Concourse

The shuttle train was designed

to transport passengers between
the existing terminal and the new
concourse. To avoid interference with
aircraft movement on the ground, the

system was installed underground. The
shuttle train is the first fully automated
rubber-tire light rail system in Korea,
running along a 1.8-km underground

track for a round trip. It was designed
to transport up to 5,000 passengers per
hour during peak times.
