Installing machinery and

          electricity for 24-hour operations

To create an airport that runs 24/7, Phase 3 built machinery and electricity
facilities. For machinery, absorption refrigerating machines, turbo refrigerators,
conditioning equipment, and automatic control systems for Terminal 2,
Transportation Center 2, and auxiliary buildings were installed. Machines and

facilities inside and outside major buildings offered stability and safety with
dual/triple installation. It also actively utilized new and renewable energy
including thermal energy and heat circulation. New machinery was integrated
with the existing automatic control system. The fueling facility was linked to the

existing control system. For electricity, the focus was on stability, reliability, eco-
friendliness, convenience, economic efficiency, and scalability for power grid
facilities. Incheon Airport built a Supervisory Control Data Acquisition (SCADA)
system and 22.9kV distribution infrastructure for stable power supply and linked

this to major facilities. It introduced the Closed Transition Transfer Switch (CTTS)
and built an emergency power generation system including the Power Building C
          to improve reliability.
