Auxiliary facilities Auxiliary facilities were also extended. The connecting road between Terminal 1 and Terminal

for stable 2 was improved. The distance between the terminals was reduced (from 15.1 km to 13.2 km
in the T1- T2 direction and from 18.2 km to 16.3 km in the T2 - T1 direction), and the route
operation of was transformed into a signal-free road. This reduced travel time, enhancing both convenience

airports and punctuality for passenger transfers. Additionally, the 3.7 km access road to Terminal 2 was
expanded by two lanes (from six to eight lanes in one section and from eight to ten lanes in
another), providing access on par with Terminal 1 and preparing for future traffic demand due to

passenger growth. A new 1 km south-side road was also added to Terminal 1, further improving
                                                traffic flow and service quality.
A new long-term parking lot (about 3,700 spaces) and a long-term parking building (about
6,400 spaces) were constructed near Terminal 2 to alleviate parking congestion. The short-

term parking area in Transportation Center 2 was expanded by two floors, now occupying four
levels. Additionally, a sky bridge connected to the third floor of Transportation Center 2 allows
passengers to directly cross from the parking area to the Terminal 2 departure hall, adding
                                                convenience.

Incheon Airport also built fuel storage and pipes. The fuel storage facility is where aviation fuel is
received, stored, and supplied to aircraft in the apron. For smooth fuel supply, the number of fuel
tanks rose from 12 to 16 (a total of 1.6 million barrels), while an additional 17.7-km of pipes were
