2000. The highlight of this construction project was undoubtedly the Yeongjong
Bridge. The 550-meter, self-anchored suspension bridge section was the most
challenging, featuring a double-deck design with a main span of 300 meters

supported by 49 piers, accommodating both road and railway traffic. The
107-meter-high main towers were built using the pneumatic caisson method,
