During the pilot pavement process, a trailer weighing 94 tons,
          equipped with the wheels of a Boeing 747-400 aircraft, was

          driven 450 times a day, 24 hours a day, 45,000 times over four
          months to assess optimal pavement conditions. Underground
          facilities on the airside were also constructed: 2 underpasses
          on the north and south sides, drainage facilities, and tunnels for

          the Intra Airport Transit (IAT) and Baggage Handling System
          (BHS). On the landside, civil engineering facilities included
          essential infrastructure to enhance airport functionality, such
          as access road networks, parking facilities, an international

          business area, an airport management area, and an airport
          new city. The road network comprises a total of 82 km of
          paved roads, while the International Business Center covers
          approximately 165,000 square meters and the airport new

          town spans around 2.15 million square meters. Additionally,
          construction was carried out for water supply pipelines (water
          mains), oil pipelines, and LNG gas pipelines to supply the
          airport and surrounding areas from the mainland.
