maintenance of existing runways

The Phase 4 construction project also included maintenance of
aging runways. In coordination with the opening of the newly
built Runway 4, maintenance work was carried out sequentially

across the existing runways in the order of Runway 3, Runway
2, and Runway 1. This was not merely a repaving project,
but involved additional improvements to enhance operational
efficiency. For example, a right-angle taxiway was added to

Runway 2 and RETs were installed on Runway 1.
