Starting with AirStar, the world’s first airport guide robot,
Incheon Airport has actively introduced services that

leverage the latest IT innovations to create a smart airport.
These services include the AirPorter (luggage transport),
AirRide (autonomous electric vehicle transport), and AirDilly
(autonomous delivery robot). In the Phase 4 project, cutting-

edge technologies have been expanded to build a faster,
more convenient airport of the future, including SmartPass,
a facial recognition departure service; HomeDrop, which
allows baggage pickup from home to the airport; EasyDrop

for baggage check-in at various locations; Smart Signage, the
world’s first AI-powered voice recognition service; and a smart
security system with AI-enabled CCTV to locate passengers.
