Incheon Airport is ranked second globally in terms of
international air cargo volume. Its annual cargo volume rose
from 1.2 million tons per year in 2001 to over 3 million tons
for the first time in 2021, securing its position as the world’s

second-largest airport for international cargo. In 2024,
through the Phase 4 construction project, Incheon Airport
expanded its cargo handling capacity to 6.3 million tons per
year, further solidifying its role as a global logistics hub.
